Merge Incremental Cells and Compact Cube

Summary:

We are using Merge incremental slices (merge all into main slice) and there is improvement when using this, the cost of querying inc data also reduced from 0.9 to 0. Our Outline also get altered frequently and we are executing compact cube to improve performance of the otl. Would like to know the precedence order if any for these 2 jobs. Should Compact cube be executed first followed by Merge incremental cells or both have no relation with each other and can be executed in any order?
