Can we add EW (Extended Warranty) item in PTO model?

Summary:

We have a existing PTO (Pick-To-Order) model with option item and option classes. We need to add EW item as an option item as well in PTO model.

As per oracle standard procedure, we add EW item in sales order as an separate item selecting which line we need to cover for extended warranty.

But we have a client requirement that EW should be part of the PTO model only.

We tried adding EW in existing PTO model but it does not show expected behavior which standard procedure shows.

If anyone has thoughts on this, please let us know.
