Best Practices to Track Calibration for Tools

Summary:

What is the best way to track and manage calibration?

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

Customer wants to track the recorded measurements for every tool when calibrated. It is also required to track what standards (tools) were used for calibration with details such as Model number, Serial number, manufacturer, due date, traceability number (currently set up as DFFs). We have set up all tools as Assets in the Maintenance module in order to use Maintenance Programs for scheduling purposes. To capture measurements, we have inspection plans tied to work definition operations that are used to pass/fail the calibration results, and Meter Templates assigned to each Asset that are used for easy access to historical measurements.

Howdy, Stranger!
