Can we delete a campaign after cancelling the Send email campaign process?

We cancelled send email campaign process after finding out the the email content in the HCM Communicate is wrong to prevent managers to receive the email. After cancelling the process, we close the campaign and create a new one again. We then re-scheduled the Send email campaign process, however, after running the new process again, the system sends two emails. One is from the campaign that we closed and the second one is the from the new campaign with the correct content. How can we stop the system to sending out the wrong email to the audience?
