Questions About Apple's iOS 17 Tracking Changes and Eloqua [2024]

We've received some questions about what Eloqua customers should expect given the announcement of Apple's iOS 17 changes. While we did address in our Eloqua 23D Release overview session, we thought it would be helpful to drop a post here in Customer Connect so that you can track down the answer if you missed the info 😃

If you want to cut to the chase, the short answer is Eloqua's links are NOT affected!

Here's a bit of background on the Apple iOS 17 changes:

  • Improves user-privacy by making it harder to do cross-site tracking.
  • Safari in Private Browser Mode detects which parts of the URL are identifying and remove those parameters.
