Why are the list of values in Redwood screens showing inactive data?

Summary:

We were evaluating Redwood screens for Position creation. We noticed that the drop-down list for 'Business Unit' in the position Redwood screen shows inactive business units. This is the case with many such work structure fields. The fields are not looking at active/inactive status of the fields.

The previous responsive UI was already showing the values correctly. Screenshot below:

Steps taken:

We raised 3-35323632667 : Business unit field on Position Redwood page includes inactive values

However, the response from Oracle is that this is what they are also seeing. This defeats the overall theme/agenda of Redwood to make the user experience consumer-grade. This issue will lead to a large amount of invalid/corrupt data.

Howdy, Stranger!
