Oracle Allow List IP's - IP range /24 instead of /22

edited Jan 11, 2024 8:04AM in Fusion Applications Administration 2 comments

Summary:

In reference to Oracle Allow List IP's For Outbound Connectivity For Fusion Applications (Doc ID 2698639.1) - can the client whitelist the IP range /24 instead of /22 (Melbourne ap-melbourne-1 192.29.208.0/22)

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

As part of our project's requirement, Oracle ERP (Payables) will need to retrieve the bank statements from the third-party's FTP server. And to do that, the Oracle ERP's IP need to be whitelisted on the third-party's system. However, they reverted back asking if they can whitelist /24 instead of /22 due to /22 being too large to be whitelisted on their side.
