YTD balance (ending balance) for each source, category and account

Hi,

We have a requirement to develop a BI report to fetch YTD balance for each source & category. In this case , I cannot retrieve YTD balance from the gl_balances as the gl_balance table does not have source & category hence I developed a query to fetch from gl_je_lines & gl_je_headers but it's taking more than 1hr. (We have more than 100 ledgers). Any suggestions to develop a BI report with minimal execution time.
