Where is tab / browser close event is coming from in chat landing page?

When I go to /chat/chat_landing and try to close the tab or browser window. I get a message asking if I want to leave this page OR stay.

Where is this message coming from? Is there any default site that is triggering the event when window is close?

Can anyone direct me to the location where this trigger is coming from?
