Number of Payroll journal entries are huge for each period

Summary:

The number of Journal entries per Pay cycle is approx. 38000+ i.e. 19000+ for Cost & 19000+ for Payments. We have 2 Paycyles each month which leads to 76000+ followed by Payroll accrual around 19000+, so overall each period around 95000 journal batches are getting created and posted to GL, which are very huge and business wants to reduce this number just 1-2 journal batches.

Kindly suggest a workaround to reduce this Journal batch count to 1-2 batches.
