Absence plan rollover rule (year end processing option) is not working

Summary:

Hello Community,

Could someone advise on the below, please?

We have an FTO accrual plan configured as follows:

The accrual method: front loaded

Repeating period: yearly

Negative balance: allowed

Carryover: no carryover

Accrual rate: 0 days per calendar year

Basically, the employees do not accrue days, and their absences are recorded as negative balance.

At the end of the year the balance, will show the total number of days taken for the year as a negative number. Carryover is not allowed. So the employees will start the next year with 0 days.

However, we need to keep somehow the total number of days taken since the implementation of the FTO plan, so across multiple years. The idea was to build another accrual plan with accrual rate 0, assign it to employees, and rollover the year end balance from the FTO plan to the new plan. This new plan would have unlimited carryover, with no expiration date, so it would show the total number of FTO days taken in the previous years.

Howdy, Stranger!
