Did you know that

  • In 2024 Google Chrome will begin their deprecation of third party cookies
  • First party cookies are blocked less often, and many browsers have already started to block third party cookies by default
  • First party cookies are dropped when the tracking domain shares a domain name with the website currently being visited

How to Prepare

  • It is recommended that clients make the switch to first party cookies within Eloqua, as these will not be impacted by the proposed changes by Google
  • To enable the first party cookie feature you will need to work with your IT team to create a tracking domain that matches your website’s domain, with a CNAME pointed to
