Title field on Negotiation to be made non Mandatory and Hidden

Summary:

Our client does not want to have Title on each RFQ they create. They are willing to search RFQ by the system number that is getting generated for each record. The title being mandatory is an add on task for end users. Can we make the field non mandatory or hide it?

We have tried page personalization but Oracle does not seem to allow this. Please suggest
