Adding new field grade to Succession Plan of type Position

Can we add additional fields on Succession Plan Info page?

We are implementing Succession Plans for a client and on the creation of Succession Plan, the client wants to add a new field that stores "Grade" on the Plan info for Position Plan Type. Is this feasible to add new fields?
