Journal Approval with delegation rule

Hi,

This is regarding Oracle GL Fusion - manual journal approval: Noticed an issue in which one user approved a Journal twice. This was due to the approval being configured to require two approvals (using vacation rules); however the second approver was out of office and their delegate was the first reviewer. (Journal approvers are Person A then Person B, B was out of office, hence the notification gone to A due to vacation rule - as expected). 

Is this a system limitation which prevents duplicate reviews by the same individual (A)?

Alternatively, is there any additional configuration to be done to prevent duplicate reviews by the same individual twice?
