We maintain the higher duties through individual compensation plans and options ((ICD). Our approach involves the creation of two distinct plans: one to collect option details related to higher duties position details and another to house salary-related information using ICD and the information will flow to payroll using the ICD element.
When employees go on leave, the responsibility of assigning higher duties falls on the Line Manager or HR specialist. However, a bottleneck arises when employees plan vacations, they need to create vacation rules or Delegation of Roles or approval for the workflow to be approved during their absence. However, some employee forgets to create the vacation rule or create a delegation of roles and approvals which impacts the PO and Payroll process. The manual assignment of the Delegation of Roles by HR specialists becomes cumbersome, particularly with high volumes.
