Summary: We want to import candidate applications from external Job Boards into ORC. Has anyone tried this through API?

We have different Job boards in different countries and we want to import the candidate applications against our postings to be imported into ORC. We want to achieve this through API. Would like to know if anybody has attempted this ? and has this been attempted for multiple vendors?
