Pass an adjustment in the Accrual from Payroll

How do was pass an adjustment and change the Absence Accrual, when an element is processed in Payroll ?

We have an element called "Encashment" which will get processed in Payroll. Once this is done, client wants the Accrual balances to reduce. However, they do not want to use the Disbursement option as they have several inputs to the calculation of encashment and hence used another element called "Encashment"
