Goal: 

This article will guide you on gathering the information needed by Oracle Support to troubleshoot OSMS related issues. 

 

Solution: 

Please provide the following information: 

  • Detailed summary of the issue, including answers to the following questions: 
  • What is the tenancy OCID? 
  • Is this the first time you have used the service? 
  • Are you having issues in a specific region or across the tenancy? 
  • Is this related to a single instance or multiple instances?  
    • What OS/OSs is/are the managed instance(s) running?  
      • Platform, Marketplace, or custom image? 
  • What are the instance OCID(s) and compartment OCID(s)?
