Do we really need the BIAdministrator role for the Account Inspector to show balances on parents?

Summary:

We noticed an interesting phenomena in General Ledger features that are based directly on the balances cubes (Inquire on Detail Balances, Account Monitor, Account Inspector, Financial Reporting, Smart View, Allocations).

These features do not show balances on other levels than the detailed accounts, unless the user is assigned the BIAdministrator role.

With the BIAdministrator role, we get figures on the hierarchy nodes with Data Source: Parent Values and Detailed Values.

Without the BIAdministrator role, we only get to see balances on the hierarchy nodes with Data Source Detailed Values.

Is there no alternative to assigning BIAdminitrator, to get to see balances on the Parent Accounts? Thanks.
