Can you Initiate OIC import process when file(s) have been placed in FTP Server directory/folder?

Rather than using a time schedule like every 1/2 hr, we would like to have the OIC Import Process kickoff whenever file(s) are placed into the mapped FTP Server directory/folder. How can this be accomplished?
