General Ledger Balance; No Subledger balance

Summary:

Our GL Balance for an account should be zero according to our subledger journal detail

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

We have an account that was booked to through various modules related to the same transaction. When looking at our subledger transaction lines it appears this transaction clears however the amount is still hung in our GL balance. This account was also booked to through manual entry and carries a balance for exactly the manual entries. We are unsure how to reconcile this.
