OSMH: How to Assign/Update New Profile to Existing OSMH Managed Instance?
There are circumstances in which a user may want to assign a new profile or update a profile on an instance that is already being managed by OS Management Hub (OSMH), such as if the instance's profile has been deleted, or if the instance's profile needs an update to its software source.
There is no direct way to update the existing profile used by an OSMH Managed instance. Instead the following steps need to be performed to register the instance with a new profile:
