Oracle Announcements feature is taking pictures and changing the color to an ugly red

Summary: Whenever we post an announcement (Tools --> Announcements) and put our own picture instead of one of the default ones that Oracle has, the color always changes to an ugly red color and ruins the whole thing. Is there a fix for this? Way around it?
