Sub transfer into Subinventory with Include in ATP = No requires collection run to ignore by GOP

edited Jan 31, 2024 12:11PM in Order Management 3 comments

Summary:

  1. Generally there are subinventories in a org like MAIN (with Include in ATP = Yes) that GOP availability looks at and then there are Quarantine (with Include in ATP = No) that GOP should not consider
  2. Occasionally product/inventory on warehouse floor is found damaged and moved to Quarantine e.g. MAIN has 100 pieces and GOP shows 100 as supply as well as Net and Cumulative (assuming Consumption is 0). Then 25 are moved to Quarantine. The GOP quickAvailability (or Estimate Order Availability from front-end) still considers 100 available to promise.
  3. It requires a collection run to reflect 75 as available to promise

This dependency on Collection run is resulting in false promises to the customer orders (or false display to eCommerce like websites using quickAvailability) - till the collection runs.

Howdy, Stranger!
