Option class items not displayed in the AR invoice

Summary:

Option class is not displayed on the AR invoice when sent from the sales order. Is this is a standard capability or its a deviation? Client is planning to price some items that are marked as Option Classes & hence the requirement.

P.S : Orders are created in a different system and are interfaced into Oracle. Hence no pricing is setup in Oracle.
