How can I assign the (shared members) below the Alternate "Hierarchies" in Approvals?

In approval unit while selecting the primary members, I can select all members for the (Main Hierarchy which is "Total Geography"), But also I need to apply the same on the alternate hierarchies, but i can't.

As I can see only the parents and can't see the shared members or the level zero members. what is the issue?
