Supplier Registration Company Name Field

Summary:

Is it possible in the supplier registration to have the company name field to be able to have a drop down menu? We are trying to avoid duplicate supplier records and were wondering if a supplier was to type for example ABC Consulting and they were already registered would it show ABC Consulting in drop down menu to show the supplier was already registered? Or could registered business be populated so we could avoid duplication or is this a privacy concern?
