Is it possible to update the line EFF of the new line created due to partial shipment?

Hi,

The order line is shipped partially. The original line (1.1) is updated to "shipped" and a new line (1.2) got created for remaining quantity and is in "Awaiting Shipping" status. As per the functionality the line EFF from Original line is copied to the new line. We need to update the line EFF of the line in "Awaiting shipping".

Is it possible to update the line EFF of the new line created due to partial shipment via API?
