Not able to remove Duty role from Custom Sale Rep role

Summary:

Hi,

We have custom role called. outside sales rep role. its copy of sale rep.

From custom role i need to remove duty role call HZ_PARTY_INFORMATION_INQUIRY_DUTY

But i am not able to remove getting error -You can remove only roles inherited by the current role.

Please let me know why this error getting
