when multiple stages are involved in PR approvals is there a possibility to avoid auto approvals

We have 4 stages of approvals, where few of the users exist in all stages. In this case is there a possibility to avoid auto approval if the approver approves the PR in stage 1 and say stage 3 gets auto approved when the same user exists there.
