How can I load multiple date-effective updates to one Element Entry?

edited Feb 13, 2024 12:05PM in Payroll and Global Payroll Interface (GPI) 7 comments

Summary:

We can load an initial element entry from scratch for an employee.

We can load one new date-effective update to that element entry.

We get the following error when we try to load more than 1 date-effective update to the same element entry.

Our scenario is for Integration, not Data Conversion. Sometimes we receive more than one date-effective update to a recurring element from our source systems. It appears I am only able to date-effectively update the element entry once in the same .dat file.
