Trying to find out what requisition an employee is hired on from a parent/pool requisition

Summary:

Trying to find out what requisition an employee is hired on from a parent/pool requisition and add it as a condition in a query.

I am learning this process now and from what I have seen maybe creating a flexfield would be the only option that identifies a parent requisition.

Just wondering if anybody has had to do something similar?

We are on HCM 24A. Trying to do this with SQL in Bi Publisher.

Thanks much!
