How to Hide Position Profile & Restrict LOV in Associate Profile in Position

Summary:

We have Positions created for different Legal Entities and the HRs from individual LEs are expected to view only the Positions in their respective LE. We have been able to achieve this via Position Security Profile. However, this does not work for the Position Model Profiles.

How do we restrict the visibility of model Position Profiles and their further appearance in the LOV of 'Associate Profiles' region in 'Request a New Position' action?

The business requirement is as follows:

There are 2 Legal Entities for: India & Saudi Arabia

The HR of India can see only India Positions. The HR of Saudi Arabia can see only Saudi Arabia Positions. This is achieved via separate Position Security Profile as associated to 2 different HR roles (one for India and another for Saudi Arabia).
