Mass Update Account Hierarchy

Is there a method for mass updating General Ledger hierarchies?

Currently, we are required to manually execute changes within the 'Manage Account Hierarchies' task.

Although it's possible to export the hierarchy, I haven't found a way to import it back in. Additionally, there are no APIs available for this purpose. We're seeking a solution to facilitate extensive hierarchy modifications without the need for manual input on an individual basis.
