AR Transaction Page - View Image to be replaced with custom invoice pdf

Currently in AR transaction page, when we click on View Image, standard Invoice image will get displayed. Requirement is to display the custom invoice pdf through REST API call. Is it feasible to modify View Image functionality in AR transaction page ?
