Summary:

Hello Oracle Experts! When we run the Cost Processor for an In-transit Inter Organization transfer Shipment Transaction, one of the depletion layer for Shipment In Transit event was generated with the cost variance.

And when we analyzed, it was found that, before the In-transit Inter Organization transfer Shipment Transaction, the Receipt transaction was done on Feb 22nd, 11.50 AM and costed with the 2 minutes time delay on Feb 22nd, 6.22 AM (Converting the 5.30 hrs from UTC to IST). After that, the shipment was done on Feb 22nd, 11.52 AM and costed on Feb 22nd, 6.22 AM (This is matching).

Because of the 2 mins delayed costing of the Intransit Receipt at the first place, the shipment has generated the cost variance, which was not expected. If the transactions was sequentially processed, then the In-Transit Receipt should have been processed first and with that revised Average Cost only this shipment should have been processed, but that was not happened, so that the cost variance would have not got generated.

Howdy, Stranger!
