Is it possible to Automatically Remove Asterisks Displaying on Address Line 1 of Candidate Records?

Summary:

Resume parsing results are currently importing an “Address” field that combines (addressline1+city+country) into the candidate record in ORC.

This “Address” field isn’t normalized and can pick up additional unwanted characters in some instances. For example, when a candidate’s resume address is separated by a bullet, this bullet may be parsed and display as an asterisk on Address Line 1 (i.e. 123 Nashville Road*). Then, once the application is submitted it continues to follow the candidate through their recruiting lifecycle to their employee record. Currently, the only solution is to correct each record manually.

Are there any workarounds to automatically hide or remove the asterisk from displaying at the end of the Address Line 1 field? Perhaps using a customization in the sandbox area?

Howdy, Stranger!
