Autocomplete rule validation error not thrown in Termination page

Summary: We have a requirement to throw an error message when we provide the termination date more than 3 days in past.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

I am trying to terminate an Employee on 27-Feb-2024 by providing the termination date as 23-Feb-2024. I supposed to get the validation error saying 'The termination date cannot be more than 3 days in the past' but it is not throwing the same. Can anyone please suggest whether autocomplete rule checks working days or actual days.
