Contact Actions no longer work

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

1.Adaptive search is enabled.

2.When selecting Actions from the contact list, some Actions no longer work when pressed.

(Create Task, Create Opportunity, etc.)

For other objects, Actions are working, so for some reason only Contact is not working.

What are the possible causes for the above?
