Multiple assignment and Salary

edited Mar 4, 2024 5:01PM in Compensation 2 comments

Summary:

We have multiple assignments enabled (2 Tier - Multiple Assignment) and each assignment has a different FTE but same grade and grade rate. The salary is based on the FTE and grade rate. When grade rate (using Progression Grade Ladder) or FTE changes, the salary is updated to reflect this.

Eg:

Asgn 1 (Primary) - FTE - 0.5 , grade - A and grade rate - 100,000. Hence the salary is 50,000.

Asgn 2 - FTE - 0.4 , grade - A and grade rate - 100,000. Hence the salary is 40,000.

Total Salary is 90,000.

When grade rate increases to 110,000, the salary is updated automatically to reflect this. (Synchronize grade step rates)
