OCI: How to Get List of Installed Oracle Linux Packages in OSMS

Applies to: 

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - Version N/A and later

Linux x86-64


Goal:

OSMS does not have a patching reporting system. However you can check the list of installed packages.


Solution:

To list installed packages:

1. Open the navigation menu, click Compute, and then click Instances.

2. Find the instance and click its name.

3. On the Instance Details page, under Resources, click OS Management.

4. Click the Actions icon (three dots) and click View OS Management Details.

5. Under Resources, click Installed Packages.

6. There will be displayed the list of Installed Packages with their installed date
