24A: Final Close Date is not getting updated thru ACR in Element Duration Date Business Object

Client: Tesco Stores Ltd
Our requirement is to update final close date field with termination date+365 days when we terminate an employee. use case has been approved & implemented the rule in field modification type in Element Duration Date Business Object as suggested in the oracle feedback in usecase portal. However the final close date field is not getting updated when we terminate an employee. Any thing missing in our rule?
Even we have tried in Object defaulting Rule type for Element Duration Date Business Object & still it is not working.
