How are we able to ensure orders are fulfilled from the inventory org defined on the sales order.

We have 80k items and 14 inventory organization. All of these items will be sourced from each inventory org. Requirements include both drop ship orders and internal fulfillment (if on hand is available).

When there is an order from a corresponding inv org, we need to be able to fulfill from there. We are needing the warehouse entered on an order to be the inventory org the order is coming from. With these requirements, we are looking for a way to eliminate having so many sourcing rules setup with all items being assigned to each of these.


How are we able to ensure orders are fulfilled from the inventory org defined on the sales order without having to create separate souring rules for each inventory org.
