Loading Employee level benefits in EPBCS Workforce

Summary:

The workforce application has both employee and position dimension. Defaults screen allow assigning defaults at Position level only, and not at Employee level. Even if, I assign Additional Earnings at Employee level from "Process Loaded Data" screen, those setting are overwritten by default settings next time Synchronize defaults is run.

My question is : is it it even possible to load employee level Benefits options setting to Workforce planning such that those are not overwritten by defaults when synchronize defaults is run. What's the best practice around this. Thanks in advance.
