How the system will calculate the safety stock and How to use the item attributes

In this scenario,

Forecast: from sales: receive the yearly forecast at the beginning of Jan by Months + receive monthly forecast on the 21st of the previous month by organizations.

S.S: safety stock 40% per branch

Current stock: in organization

Open order: form sales by SKU

when i need to practice what are the steps need to consider.
