Replacing the verification code with a link for the external career site

is it possible to change the verification method for the external candidates?

Currently, the candidates have to verify their email address via a code that gets send to their email.
Is it possible to change this to a link that they receive via email? By clicking on the link it would then open the career site and they would be logged in.
The reason is that the code method is quite cumbersome. A verification link would work faster, especially on a mobile device.
Does anyone know, whether a change like this can be implemented at the moment? or would this be an enhancement request?
