Does including CIDR range under network perimeter enable network communication between tenants?

edited Mar 11, 2024 6:21PM in OCI - General

Summary: Network Perimeter setting on default domain disrupts connection between EDMCS and FCCS. Oracle recommends including (Class E subnet). There are other tenants on the same datacenter / subnet so how does oracle secure data for each client.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

Oracle has advised that our SaaS configuration needs to allow (Class E subnet) to access our SaaS instance.

• This effectively grants the entire Oracle ecosystem access to our data at the network (layer 3) level.

• The only protection would be credential based.

• Oracle needs to provide network layer protection (such as assigned a dedicated /24 (class C subnet) or smaller to client

Howdy, Stranger!
