Getting error when trying to amend a PO that was submitted by a terminated employee

Summary:

We have a user that is trying to add money to a PO for 2024 and also to change the buyer to herself because the original buyer was terminated in 12/2023. She received a failure email saying that the supervisor doesn't exist for the buyer. The error description from the failure email she received is below:


Issue Type: BPEL_TASK_30082

Issue Description: The StandardPOGreaterThan1000000Dollars rule in the PreApprovalHierarchyRules rule set failed because a supervisor does not exist for xxxx.xxxxx@email.com

Issue Resolution: Assign a supervisor for xxxx.xxxxx@email.com in the supervisor hierarchy.


Any help on how to reassign the buyer to our user and process the amendment to the PO would be greatly appreciated.
