Transactions failing for Individual Compensation

Summary:

We are facing an issue where transactions for Individual Compensation are failing with a specific error. This error is regarding an Inactive approval rule being not defined.

We checked the approval rule and that is fine. We checked the approval hierarchy for few errored records and that was also perfectly fine.

When we terminated the errored transaction and requested the same users to re-enter the same transactions, the transactions are flowing through for approvals smoothly. The case is not one but with multiple records. When the transactions are getting re-entered they are not failing, even tough, they are being entered the same way and by the same users again.
